I'm adding this as my top pick # 7
I initially did not add this to my list because the feet and the head are oddly shaped and not ideal to fit into a baby's mouth...however, as she is getting older, this one is growing on her and now its her go-to toy not just for teething, but she loves playing with it before falling asleep, as well as first thing when she wakes up. I discovered this after foisting it upon her several times in her last teething bout. She is a little bigger now and can manage the size and shape finally.
Like I said, its a little awkward at first, and probably overpriced, but it is natural rubber and natural vegetable dyes...which seem to rub off relatively easy, but I don't have to worry if she swallows any of it...
Another advantage here is I am giving you the link to the one that is bundled with a story book (only marginally more expensive than the one without the book.) I don't know about you but I get a kick out of showing her things that match. Even if she is not aware of it, one day it will click in her mind that the giraffe toy is the same as the giraffe in the book! I figured this would encourage her brain to make connections...an added bonus!
